Every April 22nd, the World celebrates EARTH DAY! This international event is celebrated around the world to pledge support for environmental protection. Our home, Earth, is the third planet from the Sun at a distance of about 93 million miles (150 million km). It is the fifth-largest planet in the solar system. What has come from Earth Day? Recycling, Energy-efficient tech, LEDs, Electric cars, Renewable energy development, Policy changes, and Global action to reduce GHGs, to name a few.
